This amplifier is based on a EB-63A Communications Concepts Inc. parts kit.  It uses a pair of MRF-454 Power Transistors.
The design  is broad banded and is operational from 1.8 to 30 MHz.  It features an onboard changeover relay.  It can be
driven with 5 to 10 watts input and the output is 300 Watts.  The idle current is 600 mA for the pair of MRF-454s. The circuit board is mounted to the heat sink and cooling is via two 3" fans mounted on top.  The amplifier is powered by  13.5 VDC @ 25 Amp, which is available mobile or in the shack.  It runs surprisingly very cool with the small fan cooled heat sink. Constructed in a Hammond Utility Steel Box
number 1415c and is 6" x 4" x 5".  I palletized the circuit board to the heat sink and this entire assembly mounts to the top of the box.
The bottom of the box provides access to the inside.
