40 METER MOBILE VERTICAL ANTENNA

I was inspired by an article in the July 2011 issue of QST by VE6AB.
I decided to make a 40 version of this antenna, but simplify the top hat design
by purchasing the 8 spoke top hat from "Tar Heel Antenna.
When assembled, adjust the L1 coil for the desired portion of the band. The SWR
will be high, but minimal at some point.  Next add the L2 coil to the feed point.
Adjust this coil for best SWR.  Mine is 1:1 at 7.150 MHZ. ADD two tethers
to provide anti sway for the antenna while in motion. This does two things,
provides for stable operation and is physically easier on the ball mount.
